If you’re thinking about starting a backyard beehive or are just curious about what’s involved with keeping bees, then this is a great introductory class for you. No prerequisite knowledge is required. You'll learn lots of cool things about how the honey bee lives and works, discuss different hive designs, and get lots of practical information about how to set up your first beehive.

We'll be discussing, showing equipment & tools, and touring the bee yard during this workshop. We've had bees in the city and in the country for ~8 years, and are endlessly fascinated by the work our bees do.
